About

Dr. Ha Sul Kim, Visiting Scholar

Hasul Kim is a professor at Physics department, Chonnam National University, Korea. He has a PhD in Optical Science and Engineering from the University of New Mexico (UNM). He had focused mainly on fabrication of IR photodetector devices for single pixel and focal plane arrays (265 x 320). Especially, he had developed a lot of works such as Passivation with SU-8, hybridization of FPA, adoption of nBn structure into superlattice detector, etc.

Currently he is a visiting scholar at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the Ohio State University. His current research interest lies mostly on growing Sb and As-based materials by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) in order to build all kind of IR detector devices.
